Description

Noble liquids such as argon and xenon have become important in the particle detection world for their efficiency and scalability. However, there are some aspects of their behaviours that are not yet fully understood, and some that are just neat. I’ll cover some examples of oddities from experiments I’ve done over the last few years and put them into the context of future particle physics experiments.
